Hello! I’m Mama G – a proud Nigerian mama with a heart that stretches across the world. I live between London and Lagos, so I get the best of both worlds, balancing the hustle and bustle of city life with the warmth and energy of home. At 52, I’ve embraced my journey with grace, humour, and a lot of love for what life has to offer.
I’m an entrepreneur running my own business, which keeps me busy but gives me the freedom to enjoy life on my own terms. When I’m not working, I’m always looking for new experiences, whether it’s exploring new recipes (my jollof rice is unbeatable, by the way!), taking walks around the city, or catching up with old friends over a good conversation.
Family is everything to me. I have two wonderful grown children who I’m incredibly proud of. We may not see each other as often as I’d like, but we’re close-knit and always find time for family chats, especially when we all meet up in Lagos or London. Being a mother is one of my greatest joys, and I’m grateful for the beautiful bond we share.
In terms of education, I’ve got a degree in Economics, and while I don’t use it in the conventional way every day, I apply the wisdom I’ve gained over the years to run my business and navigate life. Learning and growing are important to me, so I’m always seeking new knowledge, whether it’s about business, culture, or personal development.
Health-wise, I like to keep active, whether it’s with a bit of yoga in the morning or taking walks around the neighbourhood. I’m in good shape overall, though I do have a mild back issue that I manage with stretching and being mindful of my posture. Life is too short not to take care of yourself, right?
What am I looking for? I’m looking for someone who’s kind, mature, and ready for real conversations. I love good company, someone who can make me laugh, and who isn’t afraid to build something meaningful.
